Norma Jean Palmer passed away on April 29, 2018 at her home in Durham, California.

She was born on December 4, 1931 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Ralph and Minnie Spitzer.

She is survived by her sister, Doris Sanders of Red Bluff; brother, Don Spitzer of Corning; son Bill Emerson of Lincoln; daughters, Gloria Orndorff of Paradise and Faye Smith of Magalia; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
