I am truly sorry for you and for your family and I understand it is hard to find comfort in this most difficult time. I heard from a friend about Douglas, and he has such wonderful memories of him. Every time he would talk about him, it would bring a huge grin on his face. He explained him as a good guy with a huge personality and I felt compelled to write you with this hope that soon Jesus Christ will abolish death forever (1 Corinthians 15:26) and all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life (John 5;28, 29). I just wanted to offer you hope when comfort can be hard to find, so I leave you with Psalm 34:18 where it says that God is close to the brokenhearted and He helps those who are crushed in spirit.
